Waiting with baited breath for the new Eaton sourced remaster of the following night. And hopefully more ungrades of muddy early '69 soundboards...

The new sources did not come from Rob Eaton. I got them elsewhere.

Okay, and thank you nonetheless Charlie!

Your remasters of early 1969 performances are very appreciated! I don't know of a time period more worthy of sonic attention. These are very important shows, however the sound quality of most of what circulates from this period is muddy and difficult to enjoy. Your treatment of the January Avalon shows transformed muddy, sonically compromised music into real treasures. Ditto for these classic Dream Bowl performances.

Are there improved sources for more of the early '69 shows? We'd all love to hear more of these February 1969 shows in the same brilliance and clarity as your recent upgrades.

Thanks again!!!

Hey guys - Thanks for pointing out these CM remasters. I missed the TJIs!

These were always, "listen once, get an idea of what happened and move on" shows. Hard to enjoy because in the back of my mind I knew there were shows from other dates which sound much better and would be more enjoyable. Change is good....

Rather than '69, it appears we have a lot of '76 ahead of us...

Charlie Miller says:
"Here is a list of the shows from 1976 that will be circulated by me over the next few months (Keep in mind that some shows have multiple aud + sbd sources that will be released:

6/14/76
6/19/76
6/21/76
6/22/76
6/24/76
6/26/76
6/27/76
6/28/76
6/29/76
7/12/76
7/13/76
7/14/76
7/16/76
7/17/76
7/18/76
8/4/76
9/30/76
10/1/76
10/3/76

There's probably some more in there that I can't remember right now.

There's also new boards of:
2/22/69
12/1/73
3/2/81
3/3/81
3/13/81
3/14/81
5/17/81
2/17/82
3/13/82

Plus David Gans has recently given me a bunch of shows which will be circulated after he airs them on the KPFA Marathon. (Please remember to donate to KPFA.)"

me too CH...this is keeping me up at night waiting to hear a remaster of one of my top ten shows of '69!

a remaster of some other early '69 would be a friggin' dream come true. especially the 2/4-7/69 run of shows. 2/6 circulates in horrendous quality right now...
